The last few weeks have been a little tough for me, so I decided to make this post a flashback of the past month and let it serve as a reminder to continue taking care of myself. I woke up every day feeling tired and doubted that I might catch COVID, but the negative testing result told me it’s only a side effect of the second half of the semester hitting in.
Your thesis-prep instructor asks about your academic plan when you are still a year away from your thesis.
Going through thesis preparation, I got even more confused about the definition of “architecture design research.” My instructor described the thesis as a piece to contribute new knowledge to the field, but I started to lose faith in myself and felt like the whole future of architecture was on my shoulder, which was way too much to handle.
I also do the same thing to my laser cut and 3D print babies.
